COVID-19: IMPORTANT UPDATE
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
We want to make sure our village is safe for our residents.
New Zealand is moving to the highest level of preparedness – Level 4 – to fight COVID-19 from March 25.
Bream Bay Village supports this move and is implementing our own measures for the safety of our residents and the community.
We urge all visitors and residents to follow Government guidelines and stay at home during this time.
All visitors to our Village are required to declare if they have travelled overseas in the last 2 weeks. This is the Government’s requirement for anyone who returned from overseas from Monday 16 March 1am to self-isolate and is legally enforceable.
Bream Bay Village is significantly reducing the visitors to our Village, in order to minimise the risk, to essential visitors only.
Essential visitors are visitors needed to care for a loved one who is unwell or to deliver food or medication.
Non-essential visits is contact that can be postponed or you are able to get in touch by phone.
We understand this may cause a degree of distress for residents and families but we urge all visitors to do the right thing.
We are keeping in touch with our residents offering support and providing updates as needed.
Individual circumstances will be taken into account during this time, so please email Cara Kelly, Village Manager or phone: 0800 273 262
